YSU Academic Council approves decisions regarding chairperson elections The YSU Academic Council convened to address four key agenda items, including the confirmation of chairperson election results, the approval of associate professor titles, and the endorsement of publications from the YSU Publishing Council. Additionally, the Council honored Professor Ara Gabuzyan, Doctor of Legal Sciences, with the title of "Honorary Head of YSU."
Archeology and ethnology: a way to promote Armenia’s global recognition The "Archaeology and Ethnology" Master's program at the YSU Faculty of History offers students the opportunity to work in the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and participate in international archaeological expeditions. Through these expeditions, students gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technologies and become co-authors of the discovered monuments.

International conference dedicated to World Refugee Day An international conference dedicated to World Refugee Day was held in YSU Paleans Hall under the title "Problems of Refugees from Azerbaijan SSR and Nagorno Karabakh in the Context of International Law". The conference delved into the issues of temporary protection of refugees in the context of international law. Additionally, as well as the economic losses of Armenians forcibly displaced from Azerbaijan, their social integration problems and the factor of ethnic hatred in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Science is Fun! See! Touch! Try! Annual natural science workshop held at YSU Organized by the initiative of the YSU Continuing Education Center, the "Science is Fun! See! Touch! Try!" natural science workshop brought together students in grades 8-12 under one roof, giving them the opportunity to engage in hands-on practical work and scientific experiments. This experience provided them with a deeper understanding of natural sciences.
