DEPUTIES OF THE KAZAKH PARLIAMENT AT YSU FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES
The delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development of the Kazakh Parliament Beibit Mamraev.
During the visit the Head of Chair of Turkish Studies, Professor Alexander Safaryan, welcoming the guests, presented the history of Armenian-Kazakh cultural ties and linguistic-cultural relations.
Beibit Mamraev also emphasized the importance of implementing educational, scientific and research joint programs and expressed readiness to take certain initiatives in these areas.
The high-ranking guest thanked the Armenian Turkologists for the work done and handed the official souvenir to YSU Vice-rector Arthur Israelyan, which will be located in the YSU History Museum.
