THE BOOK "THE IMAGE OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE ART OF THE XX CENTURY AND MODERN ARMENIAN ART" IS A NEW GUIDE TO APPROACHING SPIRITUAL VALUES
The presentation of Satenik Vardanyan's book "The Image of Jesus Christ in the Art of XX Century and Modern Armenian Art" as well as the exhibition of thematic works by Armenian contemporary artists took place today in the Great Hall of the Union of Artists of Armenia.

The event started with the prayer of Bishop Galstanyan and the blessing of the day.
The Primate of the Tavush Diocese mentioned that the chosen day is symbolic, as today the celebration of Christmas or Water Blessing takes place in Jerusalem.
Bishop Galstanyan mentioned, that the courage to depict God is a symbol characterizing the freedom of the Armenian Church.
The director of YSU Cultural Center Karine Davtyan emphasized that today the Armenian people need to be united, to gather around one idea.
According to Karine Davtyan, this event is a valuable example of preserving and presenting Armenian values.
