ERASMUS+ PRINTEL FINAL DISSEMINATION ONLINE CONFERENCE “CHANGE IN THE CLASSROOM”
On the 29th of September 2021 the final informational online conference entitled “Change in the Classroom” of the ERASMUS+ PRINTeL project wrapped up its activities.
In the course of the conference Karen Trchounian, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Acting Rector of YSU, David Avagian, representative of the Delegation of the EU to Armenia and Lana Karlova, Head of National ERASMUS+ Office in Armenia opened the event with their welcome speeches.
The speakers put special emphasis on the importance of application of technologically-enhanced innovative methods elaborated by teachers within the circles of the PRINTeL project, particularly in the Covid-19 pandemic scenario, when a shift to online learning was made.
Fifteen project partner universities of Eastern and European partnership, as well as around a hundred representatives of other educational institutions and different organisations took part in the conference. The aim of the YSU-coordinated project consisted in enhancing teaching and learning (T&L) processes in the project partner universities through the promotion of innovative T&L, as well as supporting integration of technologies and research and dissemination of the best experience.
In this respect during the conference the achievements of the project, namely the promotion of a platform designed for the exchange of worked out materials and conduction of discussions, dissemination of gained knowledge and experience, as well as considerations regarding further initiatives and perspectives of the project were highlighted. The conference was a chance to summarize everything realized in the course of the project, i.e. to support beneficiary HEI communities in confronting main T&L challenges, share their experience in classroom and withstand future challenges.
Armen Budaghyan, Coordinator of the PRINTeL Project, Director of YSU Quality Assurance Centre, presented in details the activities realized in the course of the project, its results and main achievements.
Round-table discussions, which provided the participants with the opportunity to raise the questions of their concern and exchange with their opinions, were held during the conference. Digital T&L development tendencies in the EU and project partner universities were discussed and the paths of digital shift, which are vital in HEI learning of today, in the related processes were considered.
