A FIVE-DAY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF THE HISTORIAN HAS STARTED AT YSU
The International Conference of Young Historians, organized within the framework of cooperation between YSU, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the State Pedagogical University of Armenia, started today in the hall of YSU Faculty of History.
Dean of YSU Faculty of History Edik Minasyan made an opening speech at the international conference.
In the first week of December, conferences dedicated to the Day of the Historian have always been organized at YSU and in particular at the Faculty of History. I would like to express my special thanks to all the representatives of the Student Scientific Society for organizing an international conference, as conferences are the platforms where the potential of young scientists and researchers is revealed.
It is commendable that our partners from other universities and research centers have also joined this important initiative. I should also mention that the best works will be published in university journals, which is important for every young researcher, " Edik Minasyan said.
SSS Chairman of YSU Faculty of History Tatev Hakobyan mentioned that such conferences have already become traditional at the Faculty of History. "This time we decided to organize an international conference instead of a republican one, and we were very happy when we received applications for participation in Armenian as well as foreign universities immediately after the announcement of the conference," she said.
