YSU DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN THE WORKSHOP ORGANIZED WITHIN THE "ARMDOCT" PROGRAM
Within the framework of the "ARMDOCT" project, a workshop was launched in the city of Teramo; Italy, where the Armenian partners of the project, including university delegations, presented the works being carried out in their universities related to the project and presented the current stage of doctoral studies reforms and what works are being carried out in general.
The purpose of the three-day workshop is to familiarize with the current progress of the program and to identify the existing obstacles with the help of the educational and research community involved in the program to chart a new way to improve doctoral studies.
YSU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Rafael Barkhudaryan, Vice-Rector for Development and Innovations Mikael Hovhannisyan, Head of Science Policy Department Yeranuhi Manukyan, Director of Doctoral Studies Center Armen Sargsyan and Head of "YSU-Krisp AI Lab" Ashot Harutyunyan are representing Yerevan State University at the workshop.
On the first day of the workshop, the representatives of Teramo University made a welcome speech.
Mikael Hovhannisyan, the YSU vice-rector for development and innovations, presented a report on the current state of doctoral studies reforms and further actions.
It should be noted that the "ARMDOCT" project is an initiative of the French University in Armenia, which is based on the experience and main results of the "Erasmus+" project "Introduction of the 3rd level quality assurance system of higher education in line with European integration to promote the internationalization of research" (C3QA).
