IN ADDITION TO ACADEMIC EDUCATION YSU STUDENTS GET SIGNIFICANT APPLIED KNOWLEDGE

Nvard Melkonyan, Associate Professor of the YSU Chair of Social Work and Social Technologies, Head of the Master's Program "Public Relations", pointing out the importance of the course said that it would give students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in a short period to present their abilities, and personal characteristics to the employer correctly.

Referring to the thematic lectures organized by the YSU Alumni and Career Center, N. Melkonyan assured that they would be continuous.

"It is noteworthy that the lectures are attended by those graduates who already know the requirements presented to them in the labor market and come to supplement the knowledge they already have. I can confidently say that the skills acquired during the lectures will help them to be professionals in demand in the labor market," emphasized N. Melkonyan.

Karine Nazaryan, deputy director of the YSU Alumni and Career Center, referring to the cooperation with the "Career Guidance Academy" organization, said that, although having been formed recently, it has already achieved success, which is evidenced by the remarkable courses organized.

Emphasizing the course organized within the framework of cooperation between the two structures, K. Nazaryan assured that it is a good opportunity to acquire such knowledge, which is generally not given when receiving an academic education.

"Such courses contribute to the career development and professional growth of university students," emphasized K. Nazaryan.

Lilit Hakobyan, founding director of the "Career Guidance Academy" organization, told us that cooperation with YSU Alumni and Career center is important for the organization.

"It is planned to organize various courses within the framework of cooperation. The YSU Alumni and Career Center has a key role in this process. Our discussions with the representatives of the center help us to understand what courses university students and graduates need, which will fill both the stock of knowledge and the skills to properly present themselves to the employer," emphasized L. Hakobyan.

It should be noted that the YSU Alumni and Career Center constantly organizes similar events aimed at strengthening and developing the university-employer relationship.
