UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WATCHED THE PERFORMANCE "...AND SPRING AGAIN"
On the initiative of YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center, the students of "The universitian" theater-studio watched a performance at the Pan-National Theater after S. Sargsyan, at the end of which there was a discussion with the creative and cast members of the performance.
The viewing-discussion of the performance "...and Spring Again" was organized within the framework of the "Cultural Education" program of YSU Charles Aznavour Culture Center.
After the performance, there was a question-and-answer session between the students and the production staff, the characteristics of the characters and the innovations made in the production were discussed. Students welcomed new creative solutions: modern musical design and the presence of poetry.
Narine Grigoryan, director of the performance, and artistic director of the Pan-Armenian Theater, emphasizing the importance of harmoniously merging the old and the new, noted, "I am not afraid of anything in art. The purpose of subconsciously innovating is to look at the performances with a fresh eye and attract the youth. In particular, this performance will give strength to be filled with hope."
It should be noted that the students of the center also watched performances "Chuchel" and “Physiology of the Race" at Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theatre and Henrik Malyan Theater of Cinema Artists respectively.
According to Karine Davtyan, director of the Charles Aznavour Culture Center, this is an opportunity for students not only to be acquainted with various acting games and directing works, but to recognize the works of world-famous authors and expand their horizons as well.
Let us add that the basis of the performance "... and Spring Again" are the five novels of the world-famous American writer O'Henry.
P.S.: The "Cultural Education" program of the YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center includes not only viewings and discussions of performances and films, but also meetings and lectures with cultural figures, master classes, visits to cultural institutions, etc.
