THE PROJECT PRESENTED BY THE YSU EXPERT TEAM IS IN THE FINALE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
The "Education Preparedness Index in COVID-19" project, developed by YSU European Studies Center experts, has entered the finale of the International Competition of Education Innovations.
Four hundred nineteen projects from 19 countries (Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Germany, France, Israel, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.) were submitted to the competition, which were observed and evaluated by more than 80 international experts. Ten of the presented projects passed the final stage, including the innovative project presented by the YSU European Studies Center's expert team, which, by the way, is the only one not only from Armenia but also from the Caucasus region.
Experts of the center and co-authors of the project Arusyak Aleksanyan and Mariam Muradyan were invited to Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod cities to participate in the finale of the competition and its preparations.
The purpose of the international competition of educational innovations is to contribute to the development of an innovative environment in the field of education. The Education Readiness Indicator is a tool for measuring the preparedness of education systems in emergencies, which has been tested in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, and its methodology and capabilities have been presented in Kazakhstan and Georgia in international and local organizations, as well as in the Ministry of Education.
It should be noted that the organizer of the competition is the "Higher School of Economics" National Research University (НИУ ВШЭ). Last year, there were 5789 participants of the competition.
