THE TEAM OF YSU LAW FACULTY WON THE ANNUAL MOOT COURT-COMPETITION

Five teams representing law faculties of Yerevan State University, French University in Armenia, Armenian-Russian University, and RA Police Educational Complex participated in the competition.

The competition took place in two stages: written and oral. During the first one, the teams presented the client's claim to the bank and the insurance company's answer to the client, and in the oral stage, they competed against each other, representing the interests of both the client and the insurance company.

The oral stage of the competition was evaluated by lawyers from the financial sector, professors teaching at the above-mentioned universities, and employees of the Office of the Financial System Mediator.

Two YSU teams competed in the final. The members of the first team were Igor Ghazaryan, Gabrielyan Marieta, and Gevorgyan Marieta, and the members of the second team were Tonoyan Alla, Movsisyan Edward, Hovhannisyan Maria, Mnatsakanyan Anahit.

The winner of the competition was the second team representing Yerevan State University.

Prizes were also awarded to the winners in the categories "Best Application", "Best Answer" and "Best Speaker". It is noteworthy that YSU teams also received the first two prizes.
