MEETING BETWEEN STUDENTS AND EMPLOYERS
The fair “Internship Hunt. Search and Find Your Opportunity” was held at YSU today.
More than 20 leading and news companies in the labor market today presented students their activities, features of the working style, and the opportunities to be included in them.
The event was organized by YSU Alumni and Career Center and Company Breedge.
YSU Alumni and Career Center Director Lilit Hakobyan told us that this event is the first attempt of cooperation with Breedge: “We are always open for such offers and are ready to organize events that will provide student-employer meetings and promote student career development. I hope this event will be productive and many students will find new opportunities.”
Breedge co-founder Vahan Melkonyan confirmed in an interview with us that the purpose of the event was to organize a meeting between students and employers as well as create opportunities for them: "More than 20 organizations are taking part in today's fair, some of which are start-ups; others are business companies and large companies. All these companies want to discover new student potential."
During the opening ceremony YSU Vice-rector on Students, Alumni and Public Relations Ruben Markosyan noted that YSU Alumni and Career Center has often organized events in this format: "This fair is unique, as it is organized jointly with Breedge. This is the first case when a university is implementing an event with a student startup. We will help today to build a bridge between student and employer."
In addition to the presentation of the organizations, in the framework of today's event, various lectures and discussions were held in different halls of YSU Library, which were organized by the founders and representatives of the organizations participating in the fair.
Lilit Hakobyan and Vahan Melkonyan told us that they are ready for further cooperation.
