OPPORTUNITY FOR YSU STUDENTS TO STUDY AT LEADING FRENCH UNIVERSITY
Members of the Delegation of the Franche-Comté Federal University of Burgundy presented a number of master’s programs today in the Robert Shuman Hall of YSU Center for European Studies.
The meeting of the French University delegation with the students was organized by YSU International Cooperation Office. YSU students who have already studied at the French University also attended the meeting.
The delegation of our guests was comprised of Professor Claude Leroy and Head of Education Internationalization Program Eugenia Pashayan-Leroy, who presented the Master’s Degree Programs and their opportunities.
Eugenia Pashayan-Leroy spoke about the history of the university, the priorities, the international cooperation, student life and educational opportunities for the students of YSU faculties of natural sciences (Biology, Physics, etc.).
The above mentioned university, which has signed a memorandum of cooperation with YSU on May 8, offers 8 Master’s degree programs in English in a range of natural sciences, ecology, ecosystem monitoring and management, physics, nanotechnology, physiology, microbiology, etc.

It is worth mentioning that the EIPHI (Engineering and Innovation through Physical Sciences, High-technologies and cross-disciplinary Research) Graduate School functions in the structure of this HEI, which offers 5 international projects in physics, mathematics, energy, computer science.
Additionally, the Franche-Comté Federal University of Burgundy provides scholarships (800 euros) for the above-mentioned programs.
The deadline for the submission of the applications is June 23.
