MODERN PROBLEMS OF BUSINESS LAW: LECTURE AT FACULTY OF LAW
Today, the Chair of European and International Law of the Faculty of Law summed up the curriculum of the current year, with YSU alumni Marine Simonyan Azizyan, who continued her studies in the United States and now works as a lawyer and lecturer.
The main topic of the lecture was the issue of business law. The speaker in details presented the challenges that today have business law in the American business environment.
During the lecture a number of examples were discussed, when rapid development of society and the Internet contributed to the creation of new laws to regulate and develop the business environment.
Marine Simonyan Azizyan also touched upon Facebook, speaking about the use of the information provided by Facebook in the business field, noting that the information provided by Facebook users, for example, during election or marketing tactics can be used as a weapon, because being informed also means to be "armed".
The graduate of YSU spoke about all European and American bills, which are trying to settle the business law.
The students tried to make comparisons between the Armenian and American legislators, reflecting the factors that affect the legal environment of the business environment, in particular with what legal acts are regulated and how they cooperate with each other in the constitution and federal laws.
The attendees discussed how to understand how business activities affect legal processes.
The current legislative amendments as well as the new draft law on charity implemented by different organizations were also discussed.
During the lecture the students actively participated in the discussion with various questions, as well as expressed their views on this or that bill.
