AUDIO STUDIO WILL BE OPENED IN SEPTEMBER AT YSU FACULTY OF JOURNALISM
Today YSU Rector Aram Simonyan and "Sound Progress" LLC representatives Tigran Hakobyan and Arsen Hakobyan signed a memorandum of cooperation according to which from September YSU Faculty of Journalism will get an audio studio equipped with modern equipment where students will gain new skills.
As a result of cooperation between YSU and "Sound Progress" LLC, the Faculty of Journalism will be equipped with new generation audio equipment, and the company representatives will be involved as lecturers. Voice recording and voice-processing skills will be introduced directly by skilled professionals who will already be able to provide them with practical knowledge.
Rector Aram Simonyan expressed his satisfaction for similar cooperation: "We hope that as a result of joint work with you, the Faculty of Journalism will have the opportunity to make its work more effective. The deficiencies in the field of journalism are numerous and this cooperation allows making some positive changes in this imperfect field," - he said.
Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Naghash Martirosyan thanked Hakobyan's brothers for a mutually beneficial proposal: "Sputnik Armenia, where the brothers work, took an interview from me, after which they expressed readiness to work with YSU. Thanks to this collaboration we will have the opportunity to create online radio and TV within the university," - said the dean.
Arsen Hakobyan expressed hope that this project will give impetus to the improvement of professional skills of future journalists.
Tigran Hakobyan said that he is ready to invest all their potential to achieve the best result. Highlighting the practical part, he touched upon technical equipment: "Students should feel the changes themselves. Students should be confident in their practical skills when they go to work."
The audio studio is scheduled to open in September. Currently, construction works are being carried out on the 5th floor of the Faculty of Journalism. Hakobyan brothers pay great attention to the soundproof and acoustic system so that the in-house noise will not interfere with the ongoing classroom workshop and the outside of the studio's interior.
"We have a great desire to invest in education, and YSU is the most important educational institution through which we can reach our goal," - Tigran Hakobyan said.
Arsen Hakobyan sincerely admitted that after an accidental meeting with Naghash Martirosyan, the idea of creating a modern audio studio at the university appeared.
Hakobyan brothers are ready to transmit the whole stock of their practical knowledge to the students of the audio studio in September: "We have very good students, and we have a great desire to work with them."
