SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM: A NEW WAY OF INCREASING EFFECTIVENESS OF ANTI-CANCER MEDICATION IS OFFERED

The leader of the program, the associate professor of the Chair of Biophysics of the Faculty of Biology Irina Artsruni told us about the perspectives of the scientific theme and the significance of its application.

The head of the program noted that the research deals with the study of influence of low toxic and low cost galatanin on the double-phosphate polymers metabolism in rats’ liver and thymus cells after injection of cisplitine anti-cancer medication.

According to her, the joint studies of galatanin and cisplitine influence on the structure of chromatin in cell nucleus will be carried out. “The results of this research have great practice significance for effective and less harmful schemes of treatment”, said the leader of the scientific program.
