PAVEL BALAYAN HAS BEEN RE-ELECTED DEAN OF FACULTY OF RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY

YSU vice-rector on General Affairs Ararat Malkhasyan was present at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the PhD of Philology, associate professor, the head of the Chair of Russian Language Susanna Lalayan. The only candidate for the position Pavel Balayan performed a speech.

He referred to the most important problems the faculty faces as well as offered the variants of their solution. Pavel Balayan offered to reduce the duration of Master’s courses making it one year and a half as a result of which the students can get the qualification of a pedagogue.

As a result of the close voting, with 27 “for” and 1 “against’ voted Pavel Balayan was re-elected Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology. At the of the meeting Ararat Malkhasyan expressed satisfaction with the Dean’s program and congratulated him on re-election.
