INTER-UNIVERSITY MOOT COURT RELATED TO FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEMS OF CRIMINAL RIGHT AND CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
On October 5 started the oral stage of the Interuniversity Moot Court held for the third year by the Faculty of Law of YSU and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ). The case was related to the fundamental problems of criminal right and criminal proceedings.
According to the results of the written stage, six teams got the possibility to compete with their knowledge in the oral stage. Each of the teams is to act both as the prosecution and the defense. According to the results of the first two days of the competition, two teams gained maximal scores are to compete in the final stage on October 7.
On the first day competed the following teams: “BONA FIDE” team of Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University and ‘YSU1” team of Yerevan State University; “Defender of Law” of the RA Police Educational Complex and “Aurora” of Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University; “YSU2” of Yerevan State University and “Nairi” of Gavar State University.
On October 6 the teams are to continue their competition to win the right for participation in the final stage.
