LECTURERS OF FACULTY OF BIOLOGY TO REPRESENT YSU AT INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

The head of the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology, the correspondent member of the RA NAS, Doctor, Professor Armen Trchunyan, the associate professor of the chair Seda Marutyan and the senior laboratorian Suzanna Blbulyan and the associate professor of the Chair of Biophysics Gayane Poghosyan took part in the congress held in Saint Petersburg.

The mentioned congress is held once in three years by the Academy of Science of Russia. The congress is chaired by Academician Alexander Konovalov.

“The fundamental problems of influence and usage of Weak, Hyperweak Fields and Radiations are essential and have ambiguous scientific explanations. However, they are widely used in various equipment and in treatment of many diseases”, said Professor Trchunyan.

The lecturer of YSU mentioned that the biological influence of high-frequency electromagnetic fields and X-Rays have been researched at the faculty of Biology for many years.
