ONE OF LECTURE ROOMS OF FACULTY OF ARMENIAN PHILOLOGY HAS BEEN NAMED AFTER LINGUIST MANVEL ASATRYAN
Opening event of the lecture room after linguist, Armenologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Manvel Asatryan was held at the Faculty of Armenian Philology.
The scientific values create by the outstanding linguist continue and develop the best traditions of traditional Armenian linguistics. With his scientific compositions and articles the author was the first to respond the linguistic disputes regarding arguable issues of Armenology.
The Dean of the Faculty of Armenian Philology of YSU Artsrun Avagyan, the head of the Chair of Armenian Language History Anna Abajyan, the head of the Chair of Armenian Language Yuri Avetisyan, the head of the Chair of Modern Armenian Literature Seyran Grigoryan, the head of the Chair of Armenian Literature History after Hrant Tamrazyan Samvel Muradyan, the Doctor of Philology, Professor Ruben Saqapetoyan, Manvel Asatryan’s children Hrachya and Ruzanna Asatryans were present at the solemn ceremony.
