THE RECTOR OF FRANCOPHONE UNIVERSITY AGENCY JEAN-PAUL DE GAUDEMAR VISITED YSU

The YSU Vice-Rector for Scientific Policy and International Cooperation Gegham Gevorgyan, the head of International Cooperation Department Alexander Margarov and the Chair of French Philology of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology Zaven Harutyunyan were present at the meeting too.

Aram Simonyan greeted the guests and presented the history of YSU and the activities aimed at the expansion and strengthening of international cooperation. We have many-year successful experience in cooperation with some partner higher education establishments”, said the Rector.

Jean-Paul de Gaudemar who arrived in Armenia to participate in Francophonie days attached importance to Armenia’s active involvement and participation in the mentioned events. “Visiting Yerevan State University is very important for us, as university students also take active part in Francophonie events”, said the Rector of Francophone University Agency.

Zaven Harutyunyan told the guests about the activity of the Chair of French Philology. At the end of the meeting the parties exchanged souvenirs and made an agreement to discuss the directions of possible cooperation.
