“LET’S DISCOVER OUR SCIENTISTS TOGETHER”: STUDENT EVENT DEDICATED TO OUTSTANDING FIGURES IN PHYSICS

The aim of the event organized on the initiative of YSU Faculty of Physics and “SPIE YSU chapter” was to present the life and scientific legacy of one of the founders of theoretical astrophysics Victor Hambardzumyan and the Arm SSR distinguished scientist, director of the Institute of Physics of Yerevan (1943-1973) Artem Alikhanyan.

Those present watched a film dedicated to eminent scientists. Then quizzes were organized for students and the winners got encouraging prizes.
