՞BEST YOUNG SCHOLARS REPRESENT YSU”: KAREN TRCHOUNYAN
5 of the young scholars (up to 35) having high performance involved in the scientific and scientific-technical programs and themes financed by means of the RA state budget represent YSU.
The highest scores were achieved by the assistant of the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biology, the researcher at the Scientific and Research Institute of Biology, PhD in Biology Karen Trchounyan.
The mentioned above competition is held by the RA MES Science Committee. The competition is held in all fields and majors. The winners will get extra pay for during a year.
According to Karen Trchounyan, the competition encourages young scholars and increase their personal performance. The selection is made by determined standards: scientific publications, participation in international congresses, reports and so on.
68 young scholars applied for participation, 22 were recognized winners. The lowest scores were 13.5, and K. Trchounyan got 67.173 scores.
