“ARMENIAN SKETCHES” ARE PRESENTED IN YSU CULTURAL CENTRE
“Armenian sketches” play dedicated to the Centennial of the First Armenian Republic, the May heroic battles and the 2800th anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan was staged in YSU Cultural Centre.
The play “Armenian sketches” is based on the same-name work by Vardges Petrosyan who called it an essay-novel.
The novel is focused on the Armenian people and their life.
The authors of the performance scenario are Karine Davtyan,the director of YSU Cultural Centre and Ani Mikaelyan, the stage director is Karine Danielyan, designer of the costumes is Lilit Melikyan, and the cast is the students of “Hamalsaranakanner” theater-studio of YSU Cultural Centre.
The family of Varges Petrosyan, the Scientific Secretary of YSU Menua Soghomonyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Armenian Philology Artsrun Avagyan, the head of the Chair of the History of Armenian Literature after Academician Hrant Tamrazyan Samvel Muradyan, the lecturer of the Faculty of Armenian Philology Nelly Tirabyan, the mother of the hero of Artsakh War, fedayi Vardan Stepanyan (Dushman Vardan), the commander of “Anahit” squad Anahit Martirosyan, the ethnic dance expert Gagik Ginosyan were present at the performance.
