YSU STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING CONTEST “ACM-ICPC”
Three universities of Armenia- Yerevan State University, American University of Armenia and Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University are participating in ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest.
YSU is represented by three teams of the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics, the director of the Armenian contest of ACM-IPCP Vahram Dumanyan, the contest is very important as it makes it possible to understand our chances in competing on the international arena of programming with the leading universities of the world. He added that YSU has been participating in the Contest since 2000 and in 2016 it got its best result reaching the final stage.
We certainly know that we have to deal with strong opponents but we believe in the potential of our students”, summarized Vahram Dumanyan and carried on watching the contest.
