BEFORE GETTING LIBRARY CARDS FIRST –YEAR STUDENTS WILL GET ASSISTANCE FROM MEMBERS OF YSU STUDENT COUNCIL
The first-year students are complaining that their library cards are late.
A unified reader’s card is provided for YSU student library and Sargis and Mary Izmirlyans library. Taking into account the coming examinations the first-year students can’t make use of the library because of having no cards. This year the first-year students are to be provided with a unified card which will be the card of “Ararat bank” and will serve as a student card and library card.
We discussed the issue with the vice-chairman of YSU Student Council David Matevosyan.
He explained that he had already discussed the problem with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexander Grigoryan, with the chief accountant Rafik Grigoryan and also contacted with “Ararat bank” employee Hayk Harutyunyan. YSU SC shared the information on its Facebook page. According to the information, this week the plastic cards will be brought to “Ararat bank” branch in the central campus of YSU and the students are to visit the branch with passports. Students will be informed by a phone call in advance.
Before getting the cards YSU Student Council urges to turn to the Student Councils of the faculties which are willing to show support in getting necessary literature.
