YSU SINGS CONTRACTS WITH 5 SCHOOLS

The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexander Grigoryan, the head of Pre-university Education Department Vachagan Galstyan, the head of the Division on Affairs with Applicants Emin Santrosyan took part in the meeting.

YSU Rector greeted the guests and stressed that the administration of the university attaches importance to the cooperation with high schools and is always willing to start new initiatives.

Rector Simonyan presented the activity of the laboratories and centers saturated with modern equipment stressing that they are always open both for students and pupils.

The Rector and school principals discussed the gaps existing between the university and schools and the problems rooted in general education.

The principals of schools stressed the importance of the activities carried out by Pre-university Education Department, outlined that the best way to provide good education starts from school so pupils visits to the university are very essential. The principal of “Armenian –Chinese friendship school” Spartak Vardanyan expressed hope that due to YSU the knowledge of the Chinese language and culture will increase.

At the end of the meeting YSu Rector presented the Explanatory Dictionary of Synonyms of the Armenian Language” made up by Ashot Sukiasyan.
