ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND WOMEN: MEETING-DISCUSSION AT YSU
YSU Centre for Gender and Leadership Studies initiated a meeting with the representative of Warsaw University Magdalena Kondas.
This year YSU CGLS has conducted a number of studies in Female Social Entrepreneurship activity.
During the meeting Magdalena Kondas informed that Social Entrepreneurship has become widely used both a practice and as a term by the experts of various spheres. The guests also presented the results of comparative research.
Speaking about the experience of Poland the speaker stressed that it is very important to take into account the factor of European Union and its Regulations as it makes it possible to cooperate and carry out experience exchange.
Referring to entrepreneurship in Armenia she outlined the fact that if an Armenian woman, teacher by profession, can’t find appropriate work she can be forced to get engaged in agriculture. “My research showed that the majority of women engaged in agriculture got higher education and it is actually wrong”, said Magdalena Kondas.
Magdalena Komdas’s previous research was into Social Entrepreneurship in Poland and Palestine.
