AT YSU SCHOOLCHILDREN GET TO KNOW ABOUT THE RIGHTS OF JUVENILES GUARANTEED BY RS CONSTITUTION
Within the frames of “Professional orientation day” program implemented by YSU Pre-University Education Department, the pupils of the 11th form of the high school N 17- in Yerevan were hosted at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of International Relations to get to know about the educational programs of the university.
At the Faculty of Law the pupils were welcomed by the consultant of the Law Clinic of the Faculty Gohar Avagyan who told the pupils about human rights and freedoms, the difference between the rights and responsibilities and presented the rights of juveniles guaranteed by the RA Constitution.
In particular, she outlined the right for education and freedom of speech and the principle of presumption of innocence. At the Faculty of International Relations, the pupils were welcomed by the head of the Chair of Diplomatic Service and Communication Norayr Chalmyan who presented the structure of the faculty and the features of the profession, attached importance to the knowledge of foreign languages.
