YSU LECTURERS TAKE PART IN REGIONAL MEETING FOR RECONSIDERATION OF ECOREGION PRESERVATION PLAN FOR THE CAUCASUS

The researcher of the Chair of Zoology of the Faculty of Biology of YSU Astghik Ghazaryan informed that leading specialists from Armenia, Russia, Iran and Turkey, representatives of the Ministry of Nature Protection and the representatives of WWF affiliates in the mentioned countries took part in the regional meeting.
Among the specialists from Armenia were the head of the Chair of Zoology of YSU Faculty of Biology Marine Arakelyan, researchers Astgik Ghazaryan and Tigran Hayrapetyan, Professor of Armenian State pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan Samvel Pipoyan, the lecturer of American University of Armenia Karen Aghababyan, employees of the Ministry of Nature Protection and the representatives of WWF-Armenia.
