MEETING WITH DEAN OF PHYSICS AND TECHNOLOGY FACULTY OF ASTRAKHAN UNIVERSITY

The meeting was organized by YSU Department of International Cooperation. The Dean of the Faculty of Physics Vladimir Nerkararyan, the head of the Chair of General Physics and Astrophysics after Academician V. Hambardzumyan Atom Muradyan, the head of the Chair of Applied Electrodynamics and Experiment Automation of the Faculty of Radiophysics Arsen Babajanyan were present at the meeting.

During the meeting the Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Astrakhan University Nikolay Vibornov presented the history and present day activity of the faculty. “I must note that our faculty is actively involved in international cooperation programs, said Nokolay Vibornov. –Every year we have students who continue their academic year in foreign universities, and we attach importance to the cooperation not only in academic field but also in the process of implementation of concrete programs”.

The Faculty of Physics and Technology of Astrakhan University is engaged in robotics, in the studies of ultra violet radiation and magnetic fields, and the issues related to environment pollution.

Mr. Atom Muradyan also touched upon the importance of bilateral cooperation and taking steps in this direction. “We have always attached importance to the cooperation programs with different universities and they certainly play their role in the faculty development, as such programs give a good opportunity to get experience exchange and establish new ties”, stressed Atom Muradyan.
