YSU TO HOST THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATION IN 2022
Today YSU Rector Aram Simonyan hosted the EERA Executive Board President Joe O’Hara and the EERA Office Manager Angelika Wegscheider.
The meeting was initiated by the Pedagogy and Education Development Centre which has been the member of the EERA since 2014.
The head of the International Cooperation Department Alexander Margarov, the director of the Education and Pedagogy Development Centre Nazik Harutyunyan and the Associate Professor of the centre Anna Alexanyan were present at the meeting.
The main theme of the discussion was holding the annual conference of EERA in YSU which is to be held in 2022.
The guests touched upon a number of technical issues related to the conference organization, got information about the halls provided for the conference, the quantity of seats and other technical conditions.
High level of the future conference organization is of significant importance for both parties so all the standards and principles of its organization were fixed in contracts.
According to the director of the Education and Pedagogy Development Centre Nazik Harutyunyan, the upcoming conference will give young scholars the possibility of mutual recognition and experience exchange.
At the end of the meeting the EERA President Joe O’Hara and the Office Manager Angelika Wegscheider walked about the premises of YSU, familiarized themselves with the activities, visited auditoriums, libraries and stated that YSU is ready to host the conference.
100 students are to be involved in the conference on voluntary basis.
It should be noted that every year the conference is held in one of member countries and unites 3000 researchers from 35 countries on average.
