NEW PROGRAM OF ADVANCED SOLUTIONS CENTRE TO BE PRESENTED TO YSU COMMUNITY

The FAST communication and social media specialist Armine Petrosyan informed that the ASCENT was founded on the initiative of the FAST as a multifunctional platform for creation and development of scientific organizations.

The FAST senior analyst Hovakim Zakaryan informed that the new stage of the program will involve the field of Biological Sciences, particularly Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy and medical Biology.

According to H. Zakaryan there are some vacancies for senior researcher and researcher at ASCENT to conduct large-scale rsearch into Biological Sciences and create innovative solutions for working out commercialized ideas.

The selected applicants are to participate in “Flagship Pioneering” team created by the founder of the FAST Noubar Afeyan and within the frames of 24-week trainings will be retrained in “Flagship Pioneering” located in Boston.

After presenting the documentation the selection stage will start. The shortlisted applications will be sent to the expert commission and the selected applicants will be invited to an interview. The answer will be given afterwards.

A. Petrosyan also presented the scholarhip programs of the foundation. She outlined that the goal of the program is to support the talented postgraduates and students from Armenia who are eager to carry out research directed at getting PhD in Natural Sciences, IT, Architecture and Mathematics (STEM).
