“ARMENIAN PEOPLE IS ONE OF THOSE RARE NATIONS THAT HAS GENETICALLY LONG AND ISOLATED HISTORY”: RA NAS PROFESSOR
The seminar entitled “Genetic dialogue with our ancestors” organized jointly by YSU Faculty of Physics and Science and Research Institute of Physics was held today in the Conference hall of YSU Faculty of Physics.
The seminar was conducted by the head of Ethnogenomics Laboratory of the RA NAS Institute of Molecular Biology, Doctor of Biology,Professor Levon Yepiskoposyan. He spoke about the origin of the Armenian nation, genetic interaction with other nations and touched upon the theme if various invasions left any genetic traits in our genotype.
