“EDUCATION IS THE RIGHT WAY TO CONVEY SELF-CONFIDENCE TO PEOPLE” PRESENTATION TO BE HELD AT YSU

The collection includes the materials of the same name conference held on May 15-16, 2018 on the initiative od YSU, the National Armenian Educational and Cultural Union and the RA NAS.

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan made a greeting speech and referred to the challenges in the organization of the cultural life in hard conditions of the First Armenian Republic.

YSU Rector highly appreciated the efforts of the Government of the First Republic, due to which, in spite of hardships, were created the National Library, the theater, numerous museums, and in those years the biography of the First Republic was enriched with the foundation of Yerevan State University.

The director of the National Armenian Educational and Cultural Foundation Ruzan Arakelyan made a speech in which she particularly stressed the role of education in the self-confidence of people.

According to her, the foundation of YSU which is celebrating its Centennial this year, shows the educational and cultural atmosphere in the country.

The Dean of the Faculty of History Edik Minasyan made a speech as well. He expressed gratitude for the initiative on behalf of the faculty and congratulated everyone on launching the bool.

According to Edik Minasyan, the collection is a valuable work which must become one of the reference books for students.
