CEREMONY OF OPENING GRIGOR GURZADYAN’S BUST TO BE HELD AT YSU

YSU Rector Aram Simonyan, the head of Cosmology Centre, the member of the Board of “LARES” European Space Programme, Doctor of Physics and mathematics, Professor, the son of G. Gurzadyan vahagn Gurzadyan, the member of the Space Museum Board, historian Karen Bayramyan, the representatives of the teaching staffs of YSU and other universities, scientists and relatives were present at the ceremony.

In his opening speech YSU Rector greeted those present and stressed that it is a great honour to have such a distinguished member of the university community. “We are opening this bust to render our memory tribute to the great scientist who had taught at Yerevan State University for many years and was the one of the founders of the Chair of Astrophysics”.
