SKILLS OF MANAGING YOUR BOSS. THE TRAINING IS CONDUCTED BY “BEELINE” GENERAL MANAGER ANDREY PYATAKHIN

The training was conducted by “Beeline Armenia” General Manager Andrey Pyatakhin. Greeting those present he noted that his speech is based on the article entitled “Managing Your Boss” which was published in Harvard Business Review journal.

Andrey Pyatakhin spoke about the results which can be achieved due to managing the boss. This process has lots of nuances and one should understand well that the first step is to help the boss.

Supporting and assisting your boss it is possible to increase both the efficiency of work and the satisfaction with work.

He presented the main aspects necessary for getting success. First of all, the process of work must be shown. Applying to the boss prepared in advance the employee must understand that his problem is not the only one, that the boss has numerous big and small problems, so the employee should try not make the presented problem more complicated. Besides, possible way of solution to be proposed as always welcome.

According to Mr. Pyatakhin, boss’s decisions must not be discussed outside his office, otherwise it will cause worsening of the relationship and the working atmosphere.

The speaker also stressed the importance of the sense of responsibility. He said that sometimes it is better to have the courage to make decisions on the spot. You can be punished for doing things beyond your powers, but it will also show the administration that you are mature enough to overcome difficulties,

The participants of the training also visited “Beeline” museum of communications and familiarized themselves with the history of the company and communications.
