Referring to the theme of the lectures Seda Gasparyan informed that this time the students were presented the theory of the American linguist Noham Chomski which is spread nowadays in cognitive linguistics. Though the theory is often criticized it is important that the students should be aware of the contents of the theory.

“The knowledge of languages of the students of this university is really impressive and it makes my work easier as I only have to concentrate on the explanation of linguistic theories”, added Professor Giorgi.
