RESULTS OF “YSU OLYMPIAD 2019” HAVE BEEN SUMMARIZED: WINNERS GET AWARDS

The Olympiad is held for the 11th year on the initiative of YSU Department of Pre-university Education. This year, nearly 2298 pupils of 189 schools took part in it.

The head of the Department of Pre-university Education Vachagan Galstyan informed that this year 25 schools had shown active participation and they were awarded with YSU thanksgiving diplomas and books.

The Vice-Rector on Academic Affairs Menua Soghomonyan, the head of Pre-university Education Department Vachagan Galstyan, employees of the department, deans, school headmasters, teachers and parents were present at the event.

During the event were awarded not only the winners of “YSU Olympiad 2019” but also the best 5 students of different faculties of YSU who were awarded with annual scholarship set by “Hakob Karapents” foundation by the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society.

The prizes were handed by the director of Yerevan office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society Ruzanna Arakelyan.
