ANOTHER GENERATION GET PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE IN YSU LAW CLINIC: CEREMONY OF HANDING CERTIFICATES
The ceremony of handing certificates to the students passed the course in the Law Clinic of YSU in the academic year of 2018/2019 was held in the court sessions hall of the Faculty of Law of YSU.
The Law Clinic, as a structural subdivision of the Faculty of Law provides free legal services to people from needy social groups who are unable to pay for legal services.
At the beginning of the ceremony of handing the certificates to the students provided legal consulting the director of the clinic Knarik Vardanyan noted that within the scope of “Rights for everyone” program 29 students of YSU Law Clinic in teamwork with partner organizations of the clinic provided thematic trainings in schools and hosted schoolchildren at YSU. The students delivered lectures in the schools of Yerevan ,Dilijan, Artik, Hrazdan and Meghri.
She presented the program implemented jointly with the UNHCR and “Mission Armenia”, the program “Rights for everyone” implemented with the “German International Cooperation” (GIZ).
The Dean of the Faculty of Law Gagik Ghazinyan stated that the faculty adopted the policy of providing students with practical skills. The lecturer and coordinator of the Law Clinic, the lawyer of the RA Chamber of Advocates Hayk Alumyan also congratulated the students.
The lecturer of the clinic, member of RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition Tigran Markosyan also congratulated the students and stated that the students participated in the course in the Law Clinic get not only practical skills but the experience of working in team as well which is very important for further activity.
