EMINENT PROFESSOR OF INTERNATIONAL LAW MICHAEL GLENNON DELIVERS A LECTURE AT YSU

Prof. Michal Glennon is the author of a number of articles related to constitutional and international law as well as of numerous scientific works and books. He worked as a Legal Counsel to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He has worked as a Fellow at the most famous universities of Europe and the USA.

At the beginning of the lecture the deputy Dean of the Faculty of aw of YSU Karen Gevorgyan stated that the participants of the meeting had an exceptional opportunity to listen to the distinguished specialist.

Professor Glennon has represented the interests of the RA at international courts.

The assistant to the Chair of Civil Proceedings, the coordinator of the event Pavel Tadevosyan greeting the participants of the meeting informed that the influential opinions of Michael Glennon had been published in such international journals as “Los Angele Times”, “New Your Times”, “The Washington Post” and others.

The lecture delivered by Prof. Glennon at YSU was entitled “Democracy in Modern World”. He spoke about the challenges of modern democracy and presented in details the political situation in the USA.

The Professor chose the theme of the lecture taking into account the events taken place in Armenia during the recent year. Mr. Glennon is going to have a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Law Gagik Ghazinyan to discuss the perspectives of further cooperation.

During the lecture the students had an opportunity to address their questions to the eminent professor.
