COOPERATION BETWEEN YSU AND CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE PROMOTES INTRODUCTION OF CHINESE LANGUAGE IN YSU: THANKSGIVING DIPLOMA TO DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTE YANG MEIHUA

The director of YSLU Confucius Institute Gor Sargsyan was present at the meeting, during which Arthur Israelyan claimed that the cooperation between the two establishments was effective and promoted the installation of the study of the Chinese language and spreading of the Chinese cultural values.

“It" s obvious that the cooperation between the Faculty of International Relations of YSU and Confucius Institute has developed significantly and I express my gratitude for it and would like to state that the cooperation not only has improved but also has expanded. Since the beginning of the new academic year Chinese will be studied at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies as well”, said Arthur Israelyan.

Yang Meihua who is to go to Novosibirsk (RF) as a director of the Chinese party to head the Confucius Institute there, informed us that the cooperation with YSU started due to the efforts of Arthur Israelyan.

“As a result of his efforts, in 2015 the Centre for Chinese Language and Culture opened in YSU and became our reliable partner. Various events were organized during this cooperation and I hope it will be continued to bring to more impressive results”, said Yang Meihua.

At the end of the meeting, Arthur Israelyan handed the thanksgiving diploma on behalf of YSU acting Rector and a memorial medal issued in the event of YSU Centennial to Yang Meihua for assisting in the introduction of the Chinese language in YSU and in the organization of a number of cultural and cognitive events.
