PRESENTATION OF THE PERSIAN MONOGRAPH OF ARMENIAN DEPUTY AT YSU

Vardan Voskanyan, Head of the Department of Iranian Studies at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies, welcomed the guests at the beginning of the book presentation and thanked the guests for accepting the invitation.

‘This is a significant event that has both a scientific and a cultural mission. It is aimed at making Armenia recognizable in Iran’, he said.

Vardan  Voskanyan noted, that the cooperation between Karen Khanlarian and the Chair of Iranian Studies includes the academic field, the process of strengthening the Armenian-Iranian relations, educational, cultural issues and in some cases the pursuit of mutual interests and interests of the two states.

‘The work is essentially dedicated to the problem of Armenia's borders. a dimension that is crucial to the academic field, given that the author has used exclusively Iranian sources. A work which was not done in Armenian in Armenian reality, but which was done in Persian by an Armenian author. This doubles the value of the book’, added YSU Head of Iranian Studies.

Karen Khanlarian welcomed guests and expressed his joy that this book is being presented as part of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Yerevan State University: ‘I could never have imagined I would be so proud of it, thanks to Vardan Voskanyan, head of the Iran Studies Department’, said Karen Khanlarian.
