TREE PLANTING ACTION IN THE YARD OF ST. ANNA CHURCH, YEREVAN
A tree planting was held today in the yard of St. Anna Church in Yerevan dedicated to the 100th anniversary of YSU.
Tree planting action was organized by YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies with the support of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
‘The collaboration between YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has a long history, and in celebration of the 100th anniversary of YSU, we both suggested planting trees, to strengthenthe connaction between church and university’: said Dean of YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies Ruben Melkonyan.
Vice-rector of YSU Artur Israelyan noted, that the tree planting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of YSU is the third one.
Before starting the tree planting, the people from university met with Head of the Central Office of World Youth Association of the Armenian Church Hayr Tovma Khachatryan.
He hoped, that the Cooperation between YSU and Armenian Apostolic Church will be stronger.
