Yerevan State University offers individual courses and the opportunity for students to acquire additional credits. According to the regulations, course selection is made from the professional educational programs available for the academic year, and the list of these programs can be found on YSU website.

In this context, Hasmik Grigoryan, a graduate student of the Faculty of Agronomy, the Armenian National Agrarian University, participated in the "Principles of Bacterial Physiology and Biochemistry" (90 hours) course of the "Applied Microbiology" Master's Program at YSU Faculty of Biology during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, earning 3 credits.
Sirvard Mangasaryan, a chemist-analyst at the Scientific Technological Center of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, NAS RA, participated in the "Chromatographic Methods" course (180 hours) of the "Applied Microbiology" master's program at YSU Faculty of Biology during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, earning 6 credits.
Dr. Karen Trchounian, Head of the "Applied Microbiology" master's program, awarded certificates to Hasmik Grigoryan and Sirvard Mangasaryan for their participation in the courses. He emphasized the importance of ongoing educational advancements, strengthening inter-university collaborations, and enhancing the quality of education for both students and academic staff.
