Laboratory of Biophysics of Subcellular Structures
The Laboratory of Biophysics of Subcellular Structures was founded in 2005.
The field of laboratory research includes:
study of nucleic acids-ligand interaction (study of biologically active compounds binding to double-stranded DNA, and single-stranded RNA by different mechanisms),
biologically active, including the interaction of pharmacological compounds with single-stranded DNA, as well as synthetic deoxyhomopolynucleotides,
interactions of DNA-specific compounds with blood serum protein albumin,
influence of millimeter-range electromagnetic waves on biological systems at different levels of formation.
The main scientific directions operating in the laboratory
Studies of the interaction of biologically active compounds with biomacromolecules, DNA, RNA, and proteins using absorption spectroscopy methods,
The study of nucleic acids, proteins, and their complexes with biologically active compounds using the UM-denaturation method,
Analysis of the binding of biologically active compounds to biomacromolecules by the Scatchard plot,
Study of fluorescence properties of complexes of biologically active compounds with biomacromolecules.
