Our lab is looking for a Linux System Administrator to support our research in computational materials science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Linux-based systems, including networking setup and maintenance.
- Install and manage scientific software packages such as VASP, Quantum Espresso, Gaussian, and others.
- Install and maintain the SLURM job submission system on HPC clusters.
Requirements:
- The applicant can be a student or an experienced professional.
- Experience in Linux system administration.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of networking and HPC cluster management.
- Experience with scientific software installation and optimization.
Additional Information:
- Flexible schedule.
- Part-time position (no more than part-time employment).
- Remote work possible.
