The governing body of the SSS is the Student Scientific Society’s Academic Council, the members of which are YSU SSS Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and the chairmen of the faculty SSSs. The head of the SSS Academic Council is the Chairman of SSS, who is elected by YSU Academic Council.
Currently, the Chairperson of SSS is Siranush Baghumyan, applicant of the Faculty of History. The Secretary is Emma Noninyan, Master's student at the Faculty of Armenian Philology.
The initial structural units of YSU SSS, according to the SSS Charter, are the faculty branches of SSS. Undergraduate (at least studying in the 2nd year), graduate and postgraduate student may join the respective faculty branch of SSS according to the recommendation letter from the head of the corresponding chair. To receive it, the chairman of the faculty SSS presents the student to the head of the chair. An exemplary SSS member should have good academic performance, research and organizational skills, enjoy the sympathy of fellow students and lecturers. The members of the faculty SSS elect the president and the Secretary of their faculty SSS, whose candidacy should then be approved by the faculty Academic Council.

Each president of SSS units may nominate one candidate for membership in SSS committees.

| Siranush BaghumyanPresident of the YSU SSS
Baghumyan was born on February 28, 1995, in Gyumri. She studied at Gyumri V. Hambardzumyan Primary School No. 4, then High School No. 7. From 2013-2017, she studied at the YSU Faculty of History. From 2017-2019, Baghumyan studied at the Master's degree program of the Faculty of History of YSU. Since 2019, she has been a Ph.D. student for the Chair of Armenian History. Since 2013, she has been a member of the YSU Student Scientific Society. From 2018-2020, Baghumyan was the President of the SSS of the Faculty of History of YSU. From 2018-2023, she was a member of the Academic Council of the same faculty. From 2020-2023, she was a member of the Academic Council of the Faculty, as well as the Secretary of the YSU SSS. From January 2023, she was the Vice-President of the YSU SSS. Since September 2023, Baghumyan has been the President of the YSU Student Scientific Society. |
| Emma NoninyanSSS Secretary
Noninyan was born on September 18, 2001, in the village of Odzun, Lori region. She studied at the secondary school №1, named after Hovhan Odznetsi in Odzun. In 2019-2023, she studied in the Bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Armenian Philology of YSU. Since 2023, she has been studying in the Master's degree program of the same faculty. Since 2020, she has been a member of the YSU Student Scientific Society. From 2021-2023, Noninyan was the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Academic Council of the Faculty. Since September 2023, she has been the Secretary of the Student Scientific Society of YSU. |

Irina Mehrabyan
Chair of Faculty’s SSS
Mehrabyan was born on October 11, 2003, in the village of Mghart, Lori region.
From 2009-2018, she studied at Mghart Primary School.
From 2018-2021, Mehrabyan studied at Alaverdi St. Shahumyan High School No. 5.
Since 2021, she has been studying in the Faculty of Geography and Geology of YSU.
Since February 2022, she has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
From 2022-2024, she was the head of the Faculty’s SSS External Affairs Committee.
Since February 15, 2024, she has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
Arina Torosyan
Chair of Faculty’s SSS
Torosyan was born on March 18, 2004, in Yerevan.
From 2010-2019, she studied at Y. Lepsius Primary School No. 88.
From 2019-2022, she studied in the English sub-stream of the Humanities stream of the Armenian State Pedagogical University.
Since 2022, she has been studying in the Faculty of Theology of YSU.
Since September 2023, she has become a member of the SSS of the Faculty of Theology of YSU.
Since September 2023, Torosyan has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
Since January 2024, she has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
Vahram Mghdesyan
Chair of Faculty’s SSS
Mghdesyan was born on April 11, 2002, in Yerevan.
He studied at Yerevan High School No. 83, named after H. Galstyan.
In 2019-2020, he studied in the Faculty of European Languages and Communication.
In 2020-2024, Mghdesyan studied in the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies.
Since 2022, he has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
Since May 2024, Mghdesyan has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
In June 2024, he was awarded the title of "Best Student-2024" of the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies and received a bronze medal.

Mariam Melkonyan
Chair of Faculty’s SSS
Melkonyan was born on May 10, 2003, in Ashtarak city.
From 2009-2018, she studied at V. Petrosyan Primary School, Ashtarak city.
From 2018-2021, Melkonyan studied at N. Sisakyan High School, Ashtarak city.
Since 2021, she has been studying in the Faculty of Law.
Since 2022, she has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
In 2023, Melkonyan became the head of Faculty SSS’s External Affairs Committee, then the vice-president of SSS.
Since 2024, she has been the chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
Nare Darbinyan

Darbinyan was born on November 13, 2001, in the Tsaghkahovit community of Aragatsotn region.
From 2007 to 2019, she studied at the A. Isahakyan secondary school in the Tsaghkahovit community of the Aragatsotn region.
From 2019 to 2023, Darbinyan studied in the Faculty of Biology. (bachelor's degree).
Since 2023, she has been studying in the Master's degree program at the Faculty of Biology of YSU.
Since 2020, Darbinyan has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
From 2021 to 2023, she was the responsible person for the General Affairs Committee of the Faculty’s SSS.

Since 2021, she has been studying at the YSU Faculty of International Relations.

Hovakimyan was born on August 8, 2001, in Yerevan.
From 2007 to 2016, she studied at Yerevan Primary School No. 31.
From 2016 to 2019, Hovakimyan studied at Yerevan High School No. 2.
From 2019 to 2023, she studied in the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University.
Since 2023, she has been studying for a Master's degree at the same Faculty.
Since 2023, Hovakimyan has been a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
Since November 2023, she has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
In June 2024, Hovakimyan was awarded the title of "Best Student-2024" of the Faculty of Sociology and received a bronze medal.

Danielyan was born on November 26, 2002, in the city of Charentsavan, Kotayk region.
From 2009-2018, she studied at Stepan Avanyan Primary School No. 4 in Charentsavan.
From 2018-2021, Danielyan studied at Mesrop Mashtots High School No. 1 in Charentsavan.
Since 2021, she has been studying in the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of YSU ("Psychology" educational program)
Since February 2021, she has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
From 2022-2023, Danielyan was the head of the Faculty’s SSS External Affairs Committee.
Since November 2023, she has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
Anahit Jilikyan

Jilikyan was born on November 24, 2003, in Vanadzor, Lori region.
From 2009-2018, she studied at Vanadzor D. Varuzhan Primary School No. 16.
From 2018-2021, Jilikyan studied at Vanadzor V. Teryan High School No. 5.
Since 2021, she has been studying at the Faculty of Chemistry of Yerevan State University.
Since February 2022, she has become a member of the Faculty’s SSS.
Since October 2022, Jilikyan has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
Anush Galstyan
Chair of the Faculty’s SSS
Galstyan was born on November 2, 2003, in Sisian, Syunik region.
From 2009-2018, she studied at Sisian Primary School No. 5.
From 2018-2021, she studied at Sisian High School.
Since 2021, Galstyan has been studying at the YSU Institute of Pharmacy.
Since May 2022, she has been the Chair of the Faculty’s SSS.
