The YSU Information Technologies Educational and Research Center, in cooperation with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), organized the final testing process of around 100 beneficiaries of the Women Entrepreneurs Program.
The participants who showed the best results were selected for the grant program, providing them the opportunity to bring their business ideas to life. The testing was conducted on the educational platform of the Armenian Virtual College. By answering 50 theoretical questions and solving 12 problems within a two-hour timeframe, the participants had the opportunity to accumulate a maximum score of one hundred points.
The AGBU's Women Entrepreneurs Program aims to empower women and foster the discovery of their full potential, a well as improve their entrepreneurial activities through business training, mentorship and counseling. Within the framework of the courses consisting of theoretical discussions and practical works related to business, the participants receive all the knowledge and skills necessary to run a business competently and efficiently.
Participants of the grant program have the opportunity to receive counseling from mentors, learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, financial management, marketing and local tax legislation. This equips them with the tools to develop a flexible and competent business plan and a strategy for successful product presentation in the market.
