At the IT Educational and Research Center, the Diploma Awarding Ceremony for graduates of the "Information Systems Management" program was held recently.
Every year, many graduates from the IT Educational and Research Center go on to excel as specialists in leading IT organizations both in Armenia and abroad.
The ceremony was attended by Elina Asriyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at YSU, and Professor Emeritus Samvel Shukuryan, Ph.D., Scientific Head of ITERC, as well as lecturers, students and other guests.
Vice-Rector E. Asriyan extended her congratulations to the graduates, stating, "You are the 105th cohort to graduate from YSU. I hope that some of you will continue your journey here, contributing to the training of future generations as exemplary specialists.
Wherever you are, I hope you will continue to cooperate with YSU, and carry the pride of being part of this institution with you. I am sure that everything you take from your time at the university will benefit not only you but also contribute positively to our country and Yerevan State University."
S. Shukuryan emphasized that the educational journey is just the beginning of a collaborative relationship with students, which will continue through their professional careers.
At the end of the event, Gnel Sahakyan, Acting Head of the Financial Accounting Chair at the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, shared his heartfelt gratitude:
"This is my second higher education, and having taught at YSU, it has truly become a second home to me for the past 24 years. However, life presents new challenges, and the future lies in interdisciplinary specialization. That is why I chose this challenging yet fascinating path. Over the past two years, I have strived to be a diligent student, absorbing knowledge from each professor to the fullest. I am deeply grateful to this center and am delighted that, after years of teaching "General Finance", I entered this center also as a student. In these two years, I have gained insights and knowledge that would be difficult to acquire in a workplace over many years."
During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the best 42 YSU graduates. Notably, Eduard Amirbekyan, a student from the IT Educational and Research Center, received his diploma from Professor S. Shukuryan. Throughout his studies, Eduard demonstrated exceptional intelligence and knowledge, earning the respect of both his peers and the faculty, and showing active engagement in social activities.
