Annual Review Conference
-
From December 7 to 15, 2024, the "Annual Review Conference" of the Armenian academic community will be held. This event aims to promote the development of various scientific fields in the republic, providing specialists with opportunities to learn about recent research and advancements in the related fields. Additionally, the conference seeks to strengthen existing partnerships and foster new collaborations among research institutes, centers, and universities.
The conference was first held in 2022. Due to its effectiveness, it has been decided to make it an annual event. In 2022 and 2023, the conference successfully achieved its goals by establishing a new format for communication, experience sharing, and information exchange among scientists in the republic, receiving high praise from attendees.
The conference will bring together active scientists from the republic, providing them with the opportunity to share their experiences, identify common challenges and solutions.
During the conference, supervisors of the scientific topics from the competitions listed below, along with any members of their scientific groups, will present reports. All other participants from the scientific groups and members of the professional expert council for the respective competitions will also be in attendance.
Advanced Research Support Program
Support Program for Integration of Foreign Scientists into the Scientific Community of the Republic of Armenia
Program for Establishing Remote Laboratories
Consolidator Program for Research Groups/Laboratories
As part of the conference, participants must present their scientific group's current achievements in the relevant field, along with a report on the actual costs associated with their scientific topic. Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes, followed by an additional 5 minutes for questions.
The first phase of the scientific event will take place from December 7 to 13, 2024, at Yerevan State University (Yerevan, Armenia). During this phase, supervisors of scientific groups will present reports, while heads of other scientific programs will have the opportunity to make poster presentations.
The second phase will be held from December 14 to 15, 2024, in Tsaghkadzor. This phase will feature panel discussions, events related to the organization of science, and roundtable discussions. Additionally, the results of the interdisciplinary group competition will be announced, followed by the award ceremony, candidate selections, and the closing ceremony.
As part of the conference, lectures on interesting topics in modern science will be offered to all interested participants, especially students and pupils.
It is noteworthy that, to strengthen the aforementioned interdisciplinary ties, the conference will encourage not only the participation of heads of scientific programs but also the presence of other members of scientific groups. To further establish and enhance these interdisciplinary connections, a scientific competition will be organized, the winners of which will receive incentive awards.
To participate in the conference, registration is required by November 23, 2024 (inclusive).
